World Premiere of 'Slow Horses' Season Six at TIFF

Apple TV celebrated the world premiere of the sixth season of the Emmy Award-winning spy series "Slow Horses" on Friday night at the TIFF Lightbox Theater in Toronto. This highly anticipated season is set to make its global debut on Apple TV on September 16, 2026. The red carpet event saw the attendance of Sir Gary Oldman, who was joined by co-stars Olivia Cooke, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Rosalind Eleazar, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, and Ruth Bradley, along with director and executive producer Adam Randall, executive producers Hakan Kousetta and Douglas Urbanski, and co-executive producer Billy Bowring.

"Slow Horses" is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents working in a less-than-glamorous department of MI5 known as Slough House. Oldman portrays Jackson Lamb, a brilliant yet cantankerous leader of the spies who have found themselves in Slough House due to career-ending blunders. The narrative of season six sees the Slow Horses embroiled in a perilous game of retaliation and revenge, instigated by Diana Taverner.

The ensemble cast for this season includes notable talents such as Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, Emmy Award nominee Jack Lowden, and BAFTA TV Award nominee Christopher Chung, alongside Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, BAFTA Award nominee Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce, and Hugo Weaving. New to the cast is BAFTA TV Award winner Lenny Rush, while Olivia Cooke reprises her role as Sidonie "Sid" Baker.
